Thelma Lou, who played Barney's girlfriend in the Mayberry Show appeared in the Annual Mayberry Parade in Mt. Airy, NC on September 29, 2007

In real life, Thelma Lou, is Betty Lynn. She has now moved to Mt. Airy, NC. Here is the picture taken by Tom Bishop, Executive Director of the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce. She is a very pleasant person, readily posing for pictures in the Annual Mayberry Parade. She appeared in 25 episodes of the Mayberry show from 1961-1966.
