Message from Dr. Robert Morris, School Supt., of Patrick County Schools about AYP-Annual Yearly Progress.

I have the pleasure of advising you that all seven schools in Patrick County met full accreditation status and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for the 2007-08 school year. Patrick County Public Schools is one of only 23 school divisions to achieve this distinction and one of only 18 to meet Division AYP. We will recognize all of our schools in a special ceremony on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Patrick County High School Auditorium, 215 Cougar Lane, Stuart, VA 24171. Dr. Thomas R. Morris, Secretary of Education, will recognize each school. A reception will be held after the ceremony. We request the honor of your presence at this event.
