Hutchens Petroleum Sales Propane Division to Liberty Propane

Stuart, VA - Hutchens Petroleum Corporation today announced the sale of their propane division to Liberty Propane, LLC of Overland Park, Kansas. Liberty Propane operates 39 locations in 11 States.

Liberty will be marketing under the trade name Blue Ridge Propane, Hutchens’ sister company in Galax, VA.
In making the announcement, Tim Hutchens, president stated, "All of the Hutchens Petroleum propane employees are now employees of Blue Ridge Propane. Our customers can be reassured in knowing they will continue to receive the same great service they are accustomed to." In the coming weeks, Blue Ridge Propane will be providing their customers with more detailed information concerning some of their exciting plans. Hutchens Petroleum will continue to market Heating Oil, Gasoline, and Lubricants. "With the sale of the propane division we can now focus our attention on the diesel fuel, gasoline and lubricant portions of our company." Tim said.
