Mustangs win on Patrick County Chamber night at the ball game

Martinsville Mustangs beat the Ashboro Copperheads 1-0 on the Patrick County Chamber night at the ball field, June 15, 2007
Scott Diamond, lefty for the Mustangs, shut out the Copperheads 1-0 on four hits for a 7th inning called game due to lightening and threatening weather.
Tom Bishop, Executive Director of the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce threw the initial pitch low and outside to start the game.
It was beautiful night up until the bad weather set in.
The Mustangs gave out free tickets to Chamber of Commerce membership. A nice crowd representing Patrick County came to see the Mustangs.
