Joan Blankenship received the Community Resource Coordinator of the Year Award from National College at the Martinsville campus.
As community resource coordinator, she works with local employers and government agencies to provide enhanced work force skills. She received the award in recognition of her success in recruiting students eligible for college’s business partnership grant, which provides eligible students with up to $1 for every $3 of employer-provided tuition assistance.
