This is the first of a series of webpage meant to show the connection via history between Surry County NC and Patrick County VA. Anyone wishing to sponsor the webpages about the Dinky Railroad. The next series will be about history along the Ararat River from Bell's Spur to Siloam NC. The purpose of these pages is to promote Patrick County VA through the many histories it contains. We will have a setup about the railroad and the related history at Danube Presbyterian Church during the River Run on July 28 if anyone wants to stop and talk about it.
