A wind storm hit Patrick County, VA on Sunday night and continued into the day on Monday, April 16th.

Patrick County Schools closed on Monday. Patrick County Chamber of Commerce Office closed on Monday, lack of power.
Many trees uprooted. Many tree limbs found in the roadways.
At 10:00 a. m. Monday, April 16, 3200 residents were out of power.
At 10:36 pm Sunday, April 15, WHEO radio registered a wind current of 68.2 MPH.
