Brian J. Jessup CPA Acquires Saunders Tax Service of Martinsville

Brian J. Jessup, CPA, PLC, Certified Public Accountant’s is pleased to announce the acquisition of Saunders Tax Service, Inc. of Martinsville, VA effective January 1, 2007.
“We are excited about the acquisition and look forward to assisting many businesses and individuals in the Martinsville & Henry County areas�, said Brian Jessup, owner. “I consider it an honor and privilege to continue the practice of Saunders Tax Service. Mr. David Saunders, who passed November 30, had faithfully served his clients for more than 30 years. We look forward to a similar long lasting relationship with all these fine folks�.
“I began my accounting career working for David’s brother Sammy at Harris, Harvey, Neal & Co. CPA’s in Danville�, stated Brian. “Since leaving Danville, I have been fortunate to practice in the Patrick County area for 11 years now�.
“Through the years, our practice has been blessed with tremendous growth. We feel the acquisition of Saunders Tax Service will further this and prove to be an asset to all Saunders Tax Service clientele and many others in Martinsville, Henry County and surrounding areas�, said Brian.

“Mrs. Bonnie Freeman, who has been with Saunders Tax Service for 20 years, will continue serving in her capacity in our new Henry County office. We also are excited to announce the addition of Mr. Rick Sebastian to our team. Rick is a native of Henry County, lives in Bassett, and will spearhead our efforts in the Martinsville/Henry County market.�
Brian J. Jessup, CPA is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of CPA’s being licensed to practice in both the States of Virginia and North Carolina.
The Patrick County office will remain at 125 N. Main Street in Stuart and the new office, formally, Saunders Tax Service, will remain at 2295 Preston Road in Martinsville.
