Richard Rogers, Talk Show Host for WHEO radio, 1270 AM, Stuart, VA is in the process of compiling a news story about the construction industry in Patrick County.
He made rounds to several businesses along with Tom Bishop, Patrick County Chamber of Commerce on January 30, 2007.
This is an industry of steady growth in building new homes and commercial construction.
This is a segment of business not often talked about, but plays an important role in Patrick County.
94 new homes were built in Patrick County in 2006 with an approximate cost of over $13 million. This number does not include cost of additions and improvements or commercial construction.
