Please consider attending one or both of the following meetings. These are the last in the series of public meetings that have been held throughout the county in which community members can learn about the value of planning and contribute their ideas/feedback to the Patrick County Rivers & Trails Master Plan.

-Tuesday, May 28 - 7pm @ Community Room, PHCC in Stuart -Thursday, June 6 - 7pm @ Community Room, PHCC in Stuart The plan will be presented to the Board of Supervisors on Monday, July 8th. It will serve as a valuable tool for the county if they decide to improve or develop outdoor recreation amenities. Please take this opportunity to give use your ideas on how outdoor recreation might be improved so that we can reflect those ideas in the plan. Main Components of the plan: -Inventory of parks, trails, rivers, lakes, overlooks, cultural events, historical sites -Projects - potential ways to improve, connect and expand amenities listed in inventory -Implementation - strategies for funding projects, construction guidelines, maintenance etc. -Corresponding environmental and cultural initiatives in Patrick County If you have any questions or would like to review the plan prior to the meetings, please contact Anna Wallace: awallace@danriver.org or (276)692-5907 Thank You!
