Patrick County Community Wide Litter Pick-Up Campaign for April-May
April 5, 2013
The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, Patrick Soil and Water Conservation District, County of Patrick, Patrick County Sheriff’s Office, Dan River Basin, and Town of Stuart working with local businesses, civic clubs, churches, Scouts, individuals and other organizations has launched a Community-Wide Litter Pick-Up for Patrick County, starting on April 1st.
The idea is to collect litter surrounding your business, church, organization and home or other designated locations. We encourage you to help clean up the neighborhood, recognizing that Spring and Summer are when we have a large number of visitors in our County to participate in many activities.
The Town of Stuart has declared April – May as Spring Cleanup month.
This is intended to be a self directed effort to truly MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the appearance of our community and encourage visitors to come back.
We solicit your comments and support during this time of the year, when Spring is evident.
