The Primland Club Team Finished One Stroke Out of a Sudden Death Playoff

In a hotly contested Tavistock Cup competition that came down to the final hole of regulation play, the Primland Club team of Fred Couples, Bill Haas, Jay Haas and Webb Simpson finished a mere one stroke out of a sudden death playoff between Isleworth and the World Golf and Country Club Champion Albany team.
This year's singles stroke-play format proved to be exceptionally competitive since the field featured some of the game's best players including Tiger Woods (Albany), Graeme McDowell (Lake Nona), Bubba Watson (Isleworth), Rickie Fowler (Oak Tree National) and Adam Scott (Queenwood).
Primland team member Webb Simpson captured the prestigious Payne Stewart Salver Award for the lowest individual score.
