Stanburn Winery Season to Start Saturday, April 6th With a New Wine

New wine, new name contest!
We will be introducing a new white blend wine this year. It is going to be a blend of Traminette and Vidal Blanc, with some residual sugar to be a nice smooth wine, but not sweet. As you all know, all of our wines that we name have a Patrick County reason behind it. We are going to let you all take a crack at naming the new wine and not only win some fame, but also some prizes. We have a small list of names that we have started with, so stop by the winery to see the list along with any new submissions, and enter your name ideas as well.
The rules:If you are suggesting a name, the name has to reflect some part of Patrick County, place or meaning. Submit your name entry on Facebook or to david@stanburnwinery.com by April 15, 2013. The winning name will be picked by Stanburn Winery and used without any copyright by the submitter. We will give notice of the winner if someone submits a name that we choose. The person who submits that name first, if chosen, will be given a shirt, tasting certificates for a group of 4, and half a case of wine of their choosing.
Festival with a Cause - May 4, 2013
Come join us to help raise money for the Salem Stompers, a Relay for Life team to benefit the American Cancer Society. Gate fees, food, and cornhole tournament will help support the cause.

$10 in advance (available online, at the winery, and at Honduras Coffee), $15 gate fee for adults, which includes entrance and wine tasting. Ages 12-20 and Designated Drivers are $5, anyone under 12 will be admitted for free.
Bring lawn chairs. No outside food or beverages permitted. Rain or shine.
