Educational Alliance School Grants
Patrick County Schools received $500 grants for a total of $3,000 from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program which has been designed for local ExxonMobil Distributors and Retail locations to nominate area schools to assist in funding of special projects designed to enhance an educational opportunity for their students.
Clark Gas & Oil has also helped fund these school grants.
Clark Gas & Oil has been serving the counties of Carroll, Floyd, Henry, Montgomery, Patrick, Pulaski, Smyth and Wythe since 1928 with quality Exxon products and services. We expanded our service to the community by developing a group of convenience stores under the E-Z Stop name in 1981, our franchise to include On the Run in 2006 and Circle K in 2011.
Blue Ridge, Hardin Reynolds, Meadows of Dan, Patrick Springs, Stuart and Woolwine Elementary Schools were nominated by Clark Gas & Oil Co., Inc. 685 Commerce St. Stuart – On the Run store # 105, 124 East Blue Ridge St. – Dry Pond Convenience, store owners – Joey Slate & David Sykes of 2236 Dry Pond Hwy and M&M Store, owners – Ron & Anita Knight of 25652 of Jeb Stuart Hwy.
Clark Gas & Oil, Stuart On the Run store # 105, Dry Pond Convenience store, and M&M Store believe in community involvement as is evidenced through its help and support of civic, volunteer and school programs within the communities we serve.
