Rick Ward, director of the Blue Ridge Regional Library, has announced that Garry Clifton has been promoted to branch manager of the Patrick County Library to fill the vacancy created by Ward's promotion to the director of the library system.

Clifton has been the bookmobile librarian at the branch for the last 20 years. Before joining the library he managed a book store in Collinsville for 10 yrars. He and his wife, Eydie, reside in Woolwine. James Martin of Stuart, who has been with the library for seven years, has been promoted to assistent branch manager of Patrick County Library. Congratulations to both and we wish them the best with their new positions.
