REYNOLDS HOMESTEAD TO HOST 3.2 RUN IN REMEMBRANCE

April 4, 2013
Homestead to hold Remembrance Run for 32 Students killed at Virginia Tech April 16, 2007.

The Reynolds Homestead Continuing Education Center and Forestry Research Center, in partnership with the Division of Student Affairs at Virginia Tech, will be hosting a “3.2 Run in Remembrance” beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13. This run is held to remember the 32 Hokies who lost their lives on April 16, 2007. The event strives to bring fellow Hokies together, to feel the support of the community, and to celebrate the lives of our friends and families. Those who wish to walk the course are also welcome. The course will route through forestry property which is generally not open to the public - so this is a great opportunity to get to see portions of the Homestead the public normally does not have access to. You can walk as well as run the course! The first 50 registrants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Registration forms are available on the Reynolds Homestead website (www.reynoldshomestead.vt.edu), at the center, or by calling 276-694-7181. On-site registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and participants are asked to be ready by 8:30 for the balloon release to start the day. Register now!!!! Lisa S.
