Jan. 18-Meadows of Dan, VA and the mountain side of Patrick County got a 12 inch winter snow on Jan. 17 afternoon and evening.

Other parts of Patrick County had only a small covering of snow. Rain continued yesterday leaving at least another 3 inches. We also experienced lightening and thunder. Reported by Tom Bishop
