Patrick County Plans for New Multi-Million Manufacturing Facility

Jan. 14-Stuart - The Patrick County Board of Supervisors are preparing for a multi-million dollar manufacturing facility coming to the county bringing some well paying jobs (as reported by Tom Rose, County Administrator)

The Board met last evening both publicly and privately and decided to move $255,000 from the Contingency Fund (savings) to the Economic Development Authority in advance of a check being received from the Tobacco Indemnification Opportunity Fund in the amout of $375,000. This is considered seed money.
The County received final approval today for the money from the Tobacco Commission. And the "check is in the mail".
The facility is said to produce products 'never made in America".
