The Patrick County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 on November 20, 2012 to use $275,000 from the Contingency Fund for Cafeteria renovations at the Meadows of Dan School

Voting against this action was was Supervisor Danny Foley. In another action, the Board voted 3-2 to apply for a $500,000 Literary Fund Loan to be applied to the construction of the new Meadows of Dan School, contingent upon Sen. Bill Stanley getting the state to repay the loan for Patrick County. Voting against this action was Supervisors Roger Hayden and Danny Foley.
