The Annual Apple Dumpling drew large crowds to Downtown Stuart, VA on October 20, 2012. The Town of Stuart organizes this event each year.

They specialize in home made apple dumplings and home made vanila ice cream. The day was filled with fried apple pies, home made apple butter making, apple orchard selling their beautiful Patrick County apples (Wade's Orchard), local musians on stage at the outdoor amphitheatre, numerous crafters, Patrick County Historical Society, church groups with food to sell and much, much more.
