The Apple Dumpling 5K being held in Stuart, VA on Saturday, October 20th, is in need of volunteers to register runners, man water stations and direct runners. The proceeds from the race will go to the Dan River Basin Association, with funds being used for trail enhancement in Patrick County. We need 5-7 volunteers between 7am and 10am, prior to the start of the Apple Dumpling Festival. Anyone who would like to volunteer, please contact Rebecca Adcock at rebajksn@aol.com.
