The word for this weekend is "peachy"! Patrick County, VA hosts the Virginia State Peach Festival which includes something for everyone. Woodberry Inn Restaurant will be serving up some very tasty specials in celebration of the festival. Plus Sean Mettler will be performing in our bar on 8/18 from 6pm - 10pm

The weekend specials will be: Shrimp and Peach Skewer - Shrimp marinated in a honey orange glaze then grilled on a skewer with fresh peaches. Served with sweet pepper rice and vegetable of the day. $14 Chicken Breast with Homemade Tapenade Cream Sauce - Sautéed chicken breast topped with a picallo roasted red pepper and artichoke tapenade cream sauce. Served with rice of the day and vegetable. $15 French Dip - Deli-style roast beef and swiss cheese served on a toasted hoagie roll with a side of au jus. Served with your choice of 1 menu side item. $10 Fried Catfish - Fresh catfish fillet dusted with our cornmeal, flour and Old Bay seasoning mixture, then deep fried. Served with cole slaw and steak fries. $12 Featured Desserts - White Chocolate Bread Pudding Peach Cobbler and Peaches Foster (Peaches sautéed in bourbon and served over ice cream) As always, reservations are recommended especially for the performance by Sean Mettler on Saturday evening.
