8/8/12 - Aug. 8-Stanleytown, VA-Nelson Automotive Family of Martinsville and Henry County presented a check to the Patrick County Chamber today for the Annual VA State Peach Festival Celebration.

25th ANNUAL VIRGINIA STATE PEACH FESTIVAL
Saturday August 11- Virginia State Peach Pageant at the Historic Star Theatre, 318 Patrick Avenue, Stuart, VA, Time: 2:00 P. M. (Tiny Miss Peach, Little Miss Peach, Junior Miss Peach, and Miss Peach). (Practice on August 10, 6:30pm.) Admission is $3.00 at the door.
FRIDAY, August 17- join all your friends and neighbors for the traditional evening music celebration in Stuart DeHart Park, 212 Wood Brothers Dr.. Gates open at 4:00 pm Music begins at 6:00 pm Ticket price: $8 advance, $12 at the gate. Children 12-under Free (Ticket price does not include food and beverage). Various food, crafters and business exhibitors available. Barbeque. Peach Cook-Off Contest. Corn Hole Tournament. Swimming at DeHart Park Pool. RAIN OR SHINE. No coolers please. Paul Farrar will be there from the “Cooking With Paul” TV show, serving samples of Peach Ice Cream. Barbeque by Two By Two. Mr. Pokeeto, the clown will be there for all the kids!
