Jul. 24-Ms. Winters, age 73 of Stuart, was killed on Monday at the intersection of U. S. Route 58 and Academy Road, when she pulled in the path of a Tractor-Trailer.

As reported by WDBJ7 Web Staff 3:54 a.m. EDT, July 24, 2012 PATRICK COUNTY, Va.— The Virginia State Police are continuing their investigation into a fatal crash that occurred around 5:00 pm Monday afternoon on Route 58 at the intersection of Route 640 in Patrick County. The investigation revealed that a 1998 Saturn station wagon that was traveling northbound on Route 640 when it pulled out across the intersection of Route 58 and into the path of an eastbound tractor-trailer.
