The Highland Course is less than one year old. It is a 18 hole championship course on a plateau in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
They called it the “most dazzling and diverse new properties on the scene�. They chose the 7,034-yard par 72 as something spectacular on the horizon.
The course will reopen on May11, and costs $175 per round.
The fairways hug huge ridge tops while greens teeter on the edge of a gorge.

Overnight accommodations are available too. Other fun things to do include, quail, pheasant, deer, duck or wild turkey hunting with a guided local expert.
Fishermen can enjoy casting for rainbow, brown or brook trout on the tail waters of the Pinnacles Reservoirs, known as the Grand Canyon of Virginia.
