America's war dead including the 171 Patrick Countians who have lost their lives in all of the nation's wars were respectfully remembered during the annual Memorial Day Service at Patrick Memorial Gardens in Stuart Wednesday afternoon.
About 75 patriotic citizens attended the touching ceremony, presented by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Let's never forget the sacrifices made by the gallant men and women who have paid the ultimate price to secure and maintain the freedoms that we enjoy in the United States of America like no other country on earth. God bless America! Reported by Richard Rogers, WHEO 1270 AM.
