PHCC to offer FREE Workshop at Patrick County Site DATE:April 18, 2012 A free customer service workshop will be offered at Patrick Henry Community College this spring. The workshop will be held at the Patrick County Site on 212 Johnson Street, Stuart, Virginia, 24171. “Great Customer Service Comes from the Heart” will be offered on Wednesday, April 18, with two sessions to choose from, 9:00-11:00 a.m. or 2:00-4:00 p.m. Superior customer service is the ability to consistently exceed customer expectations. The reward for your efforts is a loyal customer who returns again and again to purchase your product or visit your destination. To earn your customers’ repeat business you need to focus on Attitude, Consistency, Service and Teamwork. Attitude is EVERYTHING. With a positive attitude and sincere desire to serve others, you will earn the loyalty of your customers and the respect of your teammates. This is a must-do class for anyone who works with the public. The workshop will be presented by Bobbie Walker, Partnership Marketing Education Director for Virginia Tourism Corporation. Walker works directly with Virginia destinations and attractions, conducting customer service training programs. This workshop is offered in partnership by Patrick Henry Community College, Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, and Patrick County Office of Economic Development. Working together to offer training dedicated to improving the local economy through customer service. Although the workshop is free, pre-registration is required due to limited seating.
