The annual Fast Track Trade show begins Mar. 6 at the Clock Tower in Martinsville, VA. First night, Tuesday, is VIP night with only the exhibitors invited. Wednesday night, is open to the public.

Wednesday night admission is $3.00, beginning at 4:00pm Patrick County Chamber of Commerce will represent Patrick County and promote our tourist attractions and businesses. The trade show will feature 138 exhibition spaces occupied by 127 exhibitors. Fast Track 2012 is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Commonwealth Centre, the clocktower building near Liberty Fair Mall. The trade show is intended to help area businesses and organizations showcase their products and services to the community. Tuesday is VIP Night, open only to invited guests from area businesses. The night is intended to help business people network with one another. Business attire generally is required for those attending VIP Night. Witt said that means no denim, T-shirts or shorts. The dress code will not apply to exhibitors “who have to wear certain things for what they do� for a living, such as lawn and garden care workers, she said. Again this year, VIP Night will feature “The Taste of Martinsville-Henry County,� in which local restaurants and caterers will provide expo-goers with samples of their fares.
