Feb. 18-Stuart-Former Gov. George Allen (and former U. S. Senator) made a stop in Stuart, VA at W & W Produce to meet with local residents on Saturday afternoon

His friendship with Daryl and Don Worley seems to be a key factor in keeping him touch with residents in Patrick County. In this photo he is being interviewed by Richard Rogers, News Reporter from WHEO AM 1270 radio (Stuart, VA). He made another stop by W & W Produce in the Summer 2011 and purchased fresh local peaches and some moonshine jelly. He is planning his run for return to the U. S. Senate and many think he will be going head to head with another former Govenor Tim Kaine. He stopped by Stuart having been in Martinsville and returning to Danville today.
