A 'jump start' on cleaning up Patrick County's litter has started today with Terry Tilley informing The Chamber of Commerce of availability of the orange trash bags at the Stuart town office.

Mr. Tilley also informed us that trash pick up, needed by residents of the county, will be picked up on Tuesdays and Thursdays curbside. If there are tree trimmings or brush, they must be placed in the provided bags for pickup. You may pick up the Orange Bags at the Town Office located at 100 Patrick Ave. in Stuart or The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce. If you need a pickup of tree limbs you may call the Town Office at 276-694-3811, but they must be placed inside of the trash bags for pickup. Your help is deperately needed in cleaning up the litter that is a severe problem here in Patrick County. The litter program will continue through April 30th.
