Work is underway to clear out the flood channel on the Mayo River near the Narrowflex Plant, just adjacent to South Main Street Stuart. This requires a lot of dirt hauling.

This work is being done by the County employees using county equipment. It is necessary to keep this flood channel clear, as required by the U. S. Army Corp of Engineers. Good progress is being made. Photo by Tom Bishop on February 15, 2012
