Feb. 9-CPL J. B. Kerns, of Ararat, VA, was honored with a parade from the Blue Ridge Airport to the Martinsville Speedway and then a Press Conference with Movie Actor Gary Sinise announcing fund raiser.

At this press conference, Actor Gary Sinise (Gary Sinise Foundation) and The Stephen Spiller Foundation (and The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation) announced a fund raiser to help build Cpl. Kerns a new log home on the banks of the Ararat River. This will be a Concert at the Martinsville High School with the Gary Sinise Band, "LT. Dan Band" on March 31, 2012. Special Guest, Danny Rodriguez, America's Singing Cop will be performing too.
