Danny Foley, Sr., attended the first Board of Supervisors meeting on January 9, 2011, after being elected to serve and represent Mayo River District in Patrick County. His term will run 2012-2015

He previously served on the Board 2004-2007. At the Jan. 9 meeting he was selected as the new Vice-Chairman and was selected by Chairman Lock Boyce to serve on the Economic Development Authority, replacing Blue Ridge District Supervisor, Karl Weiss. Danny is a member of the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce He and his wife Kathy, make their home on Pleasant View Drive, Patrick Springs, VA in the Mayo River District. He He is the manager of Foley Used Cars on County Line Road.
