24th Annual Virginia State Peach Festival Announced

Activities include Peach Pageant, August 13. Music celebration with everything peachy, August 19 at Stuart DeHart Park, at 4:00pm, August 20, Meadows of Dan Folk Fair.

24th ANNUAL VIRGINIA STATE PEACH FESTIVAL Saturday August 13- Virginia State Peach Pageant at the Historic Star Theatre, 318 Patrick Avenue, Stuart, VA, Time: 2:00 P. M. (Tiny Miss Peach, Little Miss Peach, Junior Miss Peach, and Miss Peach). Lisa Martin will be our Emcee. (Practice on August 12, 6:30pm.) Admission is $3.00 at the door. FRIDAY, August 19- join all your friends and neighbors for the traditional evening music celebration in Stuart DeHart Park, 212 Johnson Street. Gates open at 4:00 pm Music begins at 5:30 pm Ticket price: $8 advance, $12 at the gate. Children 12-under Free (Ticket price does not include food and beverage). Emcee Richard Rogers. Paul Farrar will be there from the “Cooking With Paul� TV show, serving samples of Peach Ice Cream. Mr. Pokeeto, the clown will be there for all the kids! Award winning comedian, “Willie T� the “hillbilly hobo� will be there too. SATURDAY, August 20 –7th Annual Folk Fair at the Meadows of Dan., U. S. Rt. 58 Business begins at 10:00am.
