Patrick County Part of Pilot Program - Pay for Performance

The school system in Patrick County, VA was selected to participate in a Virginia Pay for Performance Initiative pilot program.

A total of $205,236 will be made available to teaching staffs at Blue Ridge and Hardin Reynolds elementary schools, as reported by School Supt. Dr. Roger Morris.
Performance awards of $5000 will be provided to full time teachers at the schools who teach grades 4-7 and earn exemplary ratings. Average awards of $3000 will be provided to itinerate teachers - those who teach there as well as at other schools-who earn exemplary ratings.
