NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Clark Gas and Oil’s On the Run Stores Honored ________________________________________________________________________ STUART, VA (June 20, 2011) –Clark Gas and Oil executives have learned three of their On the Run Convenience stores located in Stuart, Ridgeway and Martinsville, Virginia have been ranked in the top one percent of franchised convenience stores branded On the Run through TMC Franchise Corp, a division of Alimentation Couche-Tard. The stores achieved high level scores during a year-long program in which all franchised On the Run sites were audited by professional store shoppers. The prestigious award officially grants Clark Gas and Oil leadership status as a member of the Franchisor’s CIRCLE of Winners. Over 400 On the Run franchise stores participated in the program that included demanding evaluations, judging stores for operational performance, cleanliness and customer service. Franchised On the Run convenience stores are operated in 28 states, primarily in the Eastern half of the United States. Clark Oil and Gas operates four convenience stores branded On the Run, combined with three ExxonMobil stations in Southwestern Virginia. Blair Clark, President of Clark Gas and Oil was notified of his stores’ successes in late May by executives from TMC Franchise Corp.
