Henry County found 2 bodies in burned out car of Mallory Lawrence of Patrick County,

Henry County, VA -- Firefighters putting out a car fire in Henry County made a gruesome discovery Monday morning. They found the bodies of two people in the burned out vehicle on Willie Craig Road in Bassett.
A preliminary autopsy done on Tuesday revealed that the body in the driver's seat was male and the body in the passenger's seat was female. There is no information released related to a possible cause of death.
Investigators said the car is a 2001 Daewoo registered to Mallory Lawrence of Patrick County, VA. They have made contact with the car's owner.
The Henry County Sheriff's office is asking anyone with information on this case to call Crimestoppers at 276-632-7463.
