This past Friday, the Stuart Farmers Market official opened for the season. Over one hundred customers came out to shop from the twelve vendors that were on hand with produce, baked items, meats, eggs, crafts and plants.
Entertainment was provided by The FARM Team. A professional tool sharpener was there to put a new edge on that dull blade. For those who forgot to bring out their items to have sharpened, the tool sharpener will be back this coming week (May 13) to sharpen that knife, pair of scissors or garden tool. Join us every Friday from 8 am to 12pm for fun, food and friendly faces. In the next couple of weeks, the market will be set up to accept EBT and Credit cards to better serve our community. We are also busy working on an weekday evening market.
