WHAT: Small Lodging Facility Workshop
Ever thought about opening your home as Bed and Breakfast, building cabins to rent to tourists, or have a house that you want to rent for weekends? As Southside, VA continues to grow and prosper due to increases in tourism, economic development and the revitalizing of our small towns, there is a growing demand for Bed & Breakfast establishments and other specialty lodging in our community. This workshop will provide tools, guidance, ideas and direction to those interested in business and/or expansion opportunities to satisfy an ever-increasing demand for lodging in our community. This is an excellent way to learn how to capitalize and maximize on the tourism dollar.
