Clark Gas & Oil is willing to receive old propane cylinders so as to properly and safely dispose of them. We are talking about sizes ranging from the disposable torch/ camp cylinder, 20# grill size, RV camper 30’s and 40’s to the larger 100# that are chest high and are the largest commonly consumer transported size to be refilled. These storage cylinders should be retired from storing propane when they do not have an overfill protection devise, develop excessive rust or pitting, gauges, dents, service valve protection collar becomes damaged or missing and after 12 years of the date of manufacture without a qualified recertification company okaying the cylinder for extension of operation.
Clark Gas & Oil will be glad to inspect any cylinder and determine its service life, answer any questions, or receive any unwanted cylinders in question for free. We will in turn safely evacuate the cylinder, remove the service valve and recycle the cylinder as scrap. Our object is to get potentially unsafe and unusable cylinders out of circulation and out of sight.
