Wayne Kirkpatrick Named Volunteer of the Year-Reynolds Homestead

Wayne Kirkpatrick was named “Volunteer of the Year� over 120 hours of service to the Hiking Class for the College for Older Adults. Wayne “pre-hiked� each trail at The Reynolds Homestead.

Congratulations Wayne Kirkpatrick! A lively crowd of 36 attended the Reynolds Homestead Volunteer Appreciation Social last week and were treated to good food, entertainment, and an appreciation of their good works for the Homestead over the past year. Wayne Kirkpatrick was named “Volunteer of the Year� for over 120 hours of service to the Hiking Class for the College for Older Adults. Wayne “pre-hiked� each trail, cleaned and ensured they were safe and serviceable, arranged naturalists and geologists to accompany and share information, and worked with park rangers and site staff to provide an excellent experience for all who attended. Wayne is the reason the COA hiking class is the most popular one of all! THANK YOU, WAYNE AND ALL OF OUR HOMESTEAD VOLUNTEERS!
