Local wineries, Villa Appalaccia and Chateau Morrisette, were a part of the fine wines at the Floydfest 9 "Breaking Ground" on July 22nd. Both of these wineries are members of the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce.

Villa Appalaccia is a creator of fine Italian wines and is located on Rock Castle Gorge Road, next door to the Floydfest site (in Patrick County) Chateau Morrisette is located just accross the Blue Ridge Parkway on Winery Road in Floyd County, VA.
