The Career College Association represents more than 1,400 accredited, private-sector post-secondary institutions and is the leading voice for private-sector higher education. “Roger Dalton is the type of individual who leads by example, digging into the substance of issues to get the best for students and the employers who hire them, as he has demonstrated by co-chairing our Federal Legislative Committee the past two years,� said Harris N. Miller, President and CEO of the Career College Association. “We welcome him to the CCA Board of Directors and look forward to his many contributions.� Mr. Dalton has been with National College since 1995, serving as adjunct faculty member, campus director, and director of marketing prior to assuming his current position in government affairs. Based out of the college’s Salem, Virginia flagship campus, he has served as president of the local chamber of commerce, chairman of the Western Virginia Workforce Investment Board, president of Opera Roanoke’s board of trustees, and leadership positions in other civic and human service organizations. “It is an honor to serve on the Career College Association Board alongside the many dedicated and committed higher education leaders comprising the board and CCA staff,� said Mr. Dalton. “Whatever is in the best interest of the millions of career college students is the focus of our work, and I look forward to working on their behalf.� Founded in 1886, National College is dedicated to the training and education of men and women for a full life and a successful career in a number of fields in business, computers, and health care. The College offers more than 45 academic programs including a master of business administration, seven bachelor’s degrees, and numerous associate degree and diploma programs. Meeting the workforce needs of 28 communities through campus locations in Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, the College serves more than 12,000 students annually.
