Patrick County, Virginia is home for the Annual Virginia State Peach Festival, held in August of each year.
The celebration is led by the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce and includes, a Friday night music celebration in Stuart, VA and Saturday Folk Fair in Meadows of Dan, VA.
Typical peach products available are home made peach ice cream, peach cobbler, peach wine coolers, peach snow cones and fresh local grown peaches by the box full.
Production of peaches in Patrick County comes from the communities of Ararat, Woolwine, and Stuart.
