Celebration of the Fourth at the Stuart Farmers Market was a success! We had 17 vendors packed into the parking area with everything from home grown produce, handmade gourds, soaps and lotions to beef and lamb. A crowd of 250 people turnout to browse through the vendors stalls and purchase everything they needed for their Holiday weekend. Many of the patrons stopped to sit for a while and listen to the live music provided by The True Life Travelers, which were set up underneath a tent in the grassy area of the market. Patrons also stopped by the Patrick County Extension booth to vote for the Stuart Farmers Market in Americas Favorite Farmers Market (www.farmland.org/vote).The Stuart Farmers Market is open every Friday 8am to 12pm. Our next big celebration will be August 6th in recognition of Farmers Market week!
