Del. Morgan Griffith of Salem, VA was chosen by Republicans to run against Democrat U. S. Congressman Rick Boucher, of Abingdon, VA.
Morgan Griffith is the Majority Leader in the VA House of Delegates.

Rick Boucher, of Abingdon, has served in the House of Representatives for nearly three decades.
