Ice Storm On Lover's Leap Mountain-Near Stuart, VA

The mountain top area of Patrick County, VA was hit by another ice storm January 21-22, 2010, at 3000 ft. elevation. This photo was taken on U. S. Route 58 at the Lover's Leap Overlook by Tom Bishop, Jan. 22nd.
Many businesses in Meadows of Dan and Vesta are shut down due to electrical power failure. As of 3:00pm, Jan. 22, power crews were working on getting power back in service.
