Early Head Start Manager STEP, Inc. seeks a skilled and experienced professional to assume the position of Early Head Start Manager for Franklin and Patrick Counties. Early Head Start will provide programming for low-income infants, toddlers and pregnant women on a variety of topics from children’s physical, social and emotional development to prenatal care and postpartum care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the Early Head Start program in accordance with state and federal standards. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to the administration of a comprehensive early childhood program (e.g. early childhood education, social work, human service management) is required. - 3 years program management & supervisory experience required. - Proficiency in budgetary and fiscal management required. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. Salary range $31,000.00 - $33,000.00. Benefits include health insurance, disability insurance, sick/vacation and 401K. Position will be housed in Patrick County. Travel between the two counties will be required.
