CRITZ, VA (November 10, 2009)—The Reynolds Homestead will host physicist and author David Oliver as part of its “Dessert and Coffee with….� series on Sunday, November 15, at 3:00 p.m.
Come and bask in the visual pleasure of breathtaking images of the universe from the Hubble telescope while other senses are stimulated by music and poetry. Relax with a cup of coffee and dessert while David Oliver shares the life cycle of a star from birth to death. He will reach into the deepest limits of the known universe billions of light years away and observe galaxies, nebulae and exotic structures never before seen.
David will also present the words and music of fellow human beings as they praise the wonder and beauty of the universe. This presentation will combine imagery, music and poetry to relax the mind and create stimulating topics for discussion. This event is free and open to the general public. Groups are welcome.
