Patrick County Chamber of Commerce Upcoming Chamber Events “Business After Hours� with the Patrick County Chamber is always very special when chamber members get together, network with each other, learn more about our beautiful community. Thursday, Dec. 3-Business After Hours, 5:30pm-7:00pm. The R. J. Reynolds Homestead Continuing Education Center , 463 Homestead Lane, Critz, VA. RSVP. • Come see the Homestead in December when it is decorated for the Victorian Christmas. The Reynolds Homestead is the birthplace and boyhood home of Mr. Richard Joshua Reynolds, who started R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. The home was built in 1843. Another member of the Reynolds family, Richard S. Reynolds, Sr., nephew of R. J., founded the Reynolds Metals Company. The Reynolds Homestead is a Commonwealth Campus of Virginia Tech, a Continuing Education Center, and a Forest Resources Research Center. 2010 Annual Chamber Banquet – Friday, January 22, 2010, 6:30 p. m. at John D.
